Contacted Myki the same night about the tram fare and circumstance of the public transport system - promised a reply within a week. No reply at a week, ringing again and having the reference number they drop the call once, 5 transfers, all of whom ask the same detailed questions, most can not understand why the issue was referred to them, and waste over 20 minutes, and in the end it is a classic stonewall of "too bad". It is obvious the Myki CSOs have no delegated discretion and are only "empowered" to tell you "too bad". Beware in Melbourne. If you touch on a tram and immediately touch off and alight before the tram moves, too bad. Fare charged. No equivalent to the train "change of mind". No matter the circumstances. No appeal.
