We are now im March and i still dont have my items but my credit card has been charged.

As soon as i saw the charge i contacted timelife for a please explain. Only to be told they were still out of stock.

So i enquired as to why my credit card was charged. The response was they 'automatically' charge after 28 days unless they hear from the customer otherwise.

I have asked for my order to be cancelled ( 3 months is enough for me) only to be told theres a 10-14 day wait on the reversal of charges. So they can take my money overnight but it'll take them 10-14 days to give it back to me? How does that figure?
I've had reversals in the past that have taken less that 24 hours.

Give me a break!

My advice, avoid at all costs.....

Would just like to add that i found the letter from them last night and it was dated December 23rd, why would they send me that letter if the item was dispatched on the 21st of December.

Post subject: Still selling an item out of stock - failure to disclose
Organisation name: Time Life Australia
Issue type: Complaint

I ordered a CD set from timelife on December 8th 2007.

When 3 weeks passed with no communication from timelife whatsoever i then rang their customer service line who then informed me that they were out of stock due to high demand and it would take longer than expected.

I suggested that maybe it would be wise to let customers know that when they are ordering and correspondence be sent to those still waiting, to which the reply was if they deem that neccesary they will do so.

Within 3 hours i had an email to the effect of what i suggested. Within 2 days i had a letter in writing of the same nature.

I have since contacted time life again as i still dont have my item and they are due to bill my credit card on Monday January 21st because their system says it left their warehouse on December 21st.

So why did i receive said email and written correspondence of a totally different explanation if they had sent my item? and if it has been sent why dont i have it in my hot little hands?

I'm having major surgery on Monday the 21st of January and im supposed to wait until i return home and if i still dont have my item I'm to ring them for a third time to have the payment reversed?

I'm trying to get my affairs in order before then because im pretty sure i wont feel like dealing with it when i return home.

To top it all off, the purchase was made through emailcash and they still havent processed the claim for the rewards through that either.

Lets just put it this way i will not be making the second purchase i was considering fom them until this has all been rectified. They have no idea about good customer service thats for sure...
