Unfair Adjustments Policy

Noticed today that my GoCard has overcharged me for a trip back in April. Rang them and asked for an adjustment, and they spun this crap about a new policy in place that states that you must advise translink within 5 weeks of error for adjustments. If you dont ring within 5 weeks then you dont get your money back.

What a scam, what has a time limit got to do with refunding someone money that was taken off them 'unfairly'. How many other public transport users have the same problems, and how much money has translink made from this. Wish I could create my own policy and watch the funds build for doing nothing and get away with it...

I would suggest all go card users scrutinise their accounts daily, it seems to be the only way to ensure you dont get ripped off...
