Have not received refund

In March this year I rang AIF to enrol my son for a Certificate 111 in Fitness. I explained to them he had been offered a job at the local gym and they required him to have the qualification ASAP for insurance reasons. I was told he should be able to achieve this in about 8 weeks. I paid $3,390.00 via my visa card on 6/3/08. When the paperwork arrived in the mail we found he had been enrolled in their full course and Cert 111 was a small part of it. He would not receive the Cert 111 he needed until he completed the full course which would have taken 12 months - useless to him. I cancelled the enrollment and they agreed to a full refund. Despite many phonecalls and several promises from them I have not received the refund. Very angry that they wasted my time and still have my money 3 months later!

That's not good to hear. Cert III Fitness should take around 12 weeks to complete. If you go to most RTO's who are cricos registered, you can do it in around 1 semester. Try AIAS College of Fitness, they may be able to help (if part of this course has been completed, he might be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning). Worth a shot, anyway.
