The most frustrating experience I have as a florist is explaining to customers that fresh flowers dont last as long as plastic ones!! And if you put them near heaters or in a warm room and don't look after them eg water, they dont tend to last too long at all. I now have a little checklist of dos & donts I go through for new customers just to make sure they get it.
