Post subject: Going to the movies versus DVD at home

I prefer watching at home on DVD and my reasons are I enjoy movies better sitting at home with a cuppa and a cigarette if I want one. Now with the HD tv's and big screens at home the movies holds no temptation for me.

Why do others prefer watching at home?

I'm with you on this. I suppose the only difference with going to the movies, a big screen, theatre sound and the fact that you're actually "going out" as to "staying at home"

I chose going to the movies. As a non smoker, that part does not worry me. I spend ALOT of time at home anyway, so a few hours out and about is a nice change.

For me it a treat to "go out" and see something nice in that environment.

I like to watch at home as well--hate the movies--always seems muffled and I like the comfort of home and to be able to have a coffee etc when I want

Home is my choice as well. With a high quality large plasma TV and a more than adequate audio setup, I can't go wrong.

At least I can tell others to shut up if they get noisy without fear of violence. eusa_liar.gif
