Well done to Omega! After having a front-loading washing machine break down months out of warranty they agreed to repair the machine, provided a replacement for the time my machine was out of action, and then when they couldn't repair mine, they gave me a new one!

Six months later the new machine broke down and I got a brand new machine - no questions asked. It hasn't missed a beat since.

The Metro George St Sydney  

I just wanted to post a double thumbs up to the guys at The Metro on George St, Sydney.

My (very) pregnant wife and I went to see a concert there back at the beginning of June, and they bent over backwards to let us is an get sorted before everyone else had been allowed in.

We got the best seats in the house, and the gig was great!

I had occasion to shop with my son, DIL and Grandie on Saturday at DJ's in the City !What an absolute pleasure it was !

Clothes for son, served by a very ‘hip' young man , who told us he was working part time while at Uni, his product and brand knowledge was exemplary! Shoes for 3 year old, foot measured, much giggling between staff member and granddaughter Tried several pairs and had lots of laughs ! Visit to Santa, more smiles and a princess crown!

There was just a great Xmas feel in the whole store! ALL the staff was smiling and friendly, and their knowledge was wonderful!

Well done DJ’s! There sure is no other store ..........…

Don Foods  

I bought a packet of Deli Supreme Ham and all the slices were stuck together making it impossible to get apart. I phoned the customer service and they were great. Apologised, thanked me for bringing the matter to their attention and are sending me a voucher for whatever supermarket I want.

Why can't all customer services react like that ?

Sheridan Canningvale  

Not too long ago I bought a great Sheridan bath towel and it was one of the best towels I have had. Then after a few (3 or 4) times through the wash I noticed some stains on it that looked like the dye was coming out. As the tag had their web address I decided to email them and see what the response would be. To my great surprise and pleasure the very next morning (a Monday) I received an email to acknowledge my email and informing me that I would either be called or emailed with a solution.

Two days later I received an email asking for the towel to be sent to Canningvale for inspection. I queried that it appeared I was to pay for the postage and promptly (the next day) received a Reply paid address and further information on what was going to happen.

So quite happy I sent it the same day. I then (mid last week) received a phone call from a lovely lady at Canningvale to explain that they could not fault either the towel or me, so they were sending me a new one (unfortunately not the same, was an old series - but got to choose the colour). This lovely towel arrived (effectively - I missed the courier) yesterday and is great.

I want it known that I greatly appreciate the service I have received from Canningvale and Sheridan - not all large firms out there are just in it for the money.

I am sending an email to them as well.

Hungry Jack's Balga  

Yesterday evening, I went to the drive thru of HJ's Balga got my change and food and on the way home, felt for the notes and discovered I was $20 short. When I got home I virtually ransacked the car looking for the missing $20. I tried throughout the evening to call but they did not answer the phone.

This morning I rang and the lovely lady Manager, listened to my story, checked the orders at the time I said I was there, told me the till was over $22 last night but would have to check with the Night Manager when she came on duty.

I got a call mid afternoon to say the money was there waiting for me! Thank You very much Hungry Jack's! I do appreciate you taking the trouble to listen to me, investigate and find in my favour!

RACV Roadside Assist  

I backed the car out of the garage to head off to work week before last when I noticed a completely flat right front tyre.

Rang RACV roadside assistance, they advised that a patrolman would be there within 30 minutes. Ok, no problems, I expect a wait time but I was sweating on getting to work on time.

John arrived 15 minutes later and had the spare out and car jacked up in no time. Went to fit the spare, problem number 1, the wheel nuts don't fit the spare. When I bought the car I had the standard alloys changed to a different set and size. The dealer left the spare as the standard alloy, but didn't supply the wheel nuts.

Problem number 2. I couldn't drive on the flat to get it repaired or drive to the dealer to get the wheel nuts. "No problem" says John. He throws the deflated tyre in his van and drives me to a local repairer to get it repaired. They did it straight away. Return home and John puts the wheel back on. All this took no more than 30 minutes.

Now by rights, John didn't have to do what he did. It's up to me to ensure I have a roadworthy spare tyre and correct wheel nuts. So John and RACV, thank have a roadworthy spare tyre and correct wheel nuts. So John and RACV, thank you so much, you really got me out of a bind and I got to work with time to spare.

Fiasco's Restaurant Parkwood Tavern  

We have been going to the Parkwood Tavern's restaurant "Fiascos" for 7 years. The menu has a wide variety, specialising in wood fire pizzas, but it is all yummy and well priced. The staff are brilliant and friendly and we have never once had to complain or send something back to the kitchen.

Most times when we want to go out for a good night we rely on Fiascos and we know that we will have a good time with no problems. Most of the wait staff have been there a while and we would consider them our mates. What a refreshing change Fiascos is.

Well Done!! Hope keep up the fantastic service and food for the next 7 years.

We have had a Singer sewing machine for a lot of years and lost the instruction booklet. I emailed the company Singer/Blessington and they sent me a new booklet within 48 hours. Completely free!

Qantas  

Nothing but praise for the staff at Williamtown. 2 flights were returned to Brisbane, they kept everyone informed at all times and always asked what more they could do. Arrived home in Hobart a few hours later than planned but had no complaints.
